Prof. Shrestha is a chairperson of Alliance for Early Childhood Development Nepal (AECDN) and Executive Director of Family Village Nepal ; a non-governmental organization Prof. Shrestha was an officiating Executive Director of Centre for Education Research and Integrated Development (CERID) , Tribhuwan University. He has undertaken a number of research projects as the Research Coordinator, Lead researcher and worked as a consultant for Asian Development bank , UNICEF/UNESCO, USAID etc. He has dozens of research publication and also he has been author, co-author of many publications.
